Camera Repair Services
A basic repair/service as featured for the Olympus OM10, Pentax or Nikon on my eBay auctions start from around £42, which will include the repair and service of your camera, the fitting of minor spares, i.e. screws, springs etc. while the supply and fitting of required major parts will be estimated, and advised by email or telephone, before work starts.
For repairs to any other makes and models of equipment, including medium and large format, please email or call for estimates. Due to the availability of spares, etc, for digital equipment - again please contact me initially for advice and to discuss your requirements.

All repairs are carried out by myself, a factory trained (Japan and Germany) repairer with 40 years experience in the trade and all work carries a six months guarantee.
I recommend using the Royal Mail's Special Delivery Service (U.K. only) to forward your equipment and after repair, it will be returned by the same method. This is charged at cost and as it is a fully insured parcel post requires a signature on delivery. I can of course, post worldwide at any additional cost. Equipment is always well packed for return.
Although the majority of my business is via mail, if in the area please contact me before calling in person to deliver or collect.
I realise that your camera equipment is valuable and may have lots of sentimental value so please be assured that your equipment will be handled carefully and all due care taken while under repair - please see previous private customers comments and numerous recommendations below.
In addition, I have also received positive comments about my completed work on photonet and on the Yahoo canonfd mailing list, and I have recently started advertising my services and auctions on eBay (under name camerarepairer) and have again received positive feedback from satisfied customers.
Due to advertising on eBay, I now offer payment by Paypal (eBay Payments) via your Switch or Solo debit cards, but most private repairs are paid by personal cheque, on completion of the work.
